Yoga Benefits

Yoga benefits are the science of living properly and hence it should be included in daily life.

It works on all aspects of our life, physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. Yoga means unity or bind. The root of the word is the Sanskrit word yuj, which means to join. At the spiritual level, this joining means the unification of individual consciousness with universal consciousness. On a practical level, yoga is a means of balancing and harmonizing the body, mind and emotions.

Yoga is also a way of life and in itself the ultimate purpose. Yoga first benefits the external body, which is a practical and familiar starting place for most people. When an imbalance is experienced at this level, organs, muscles, and nerves do not work in harmony, rather they act in opposition to each other. Yoga works on mental and emotional levels after the external body.

Physical and mental healing is one of the most known yoga benefits . It is so powerful and effective because it works on the principles of harmony and integration. Yoga is a successful treatment option in asthma, diabetes, blood pressure, arthritis, digestive disorders and other diseases, especially where modern science has not been successful in giving treatment till date.

As a result of the stress and interactions of everyday life, many people suffer from many mental troubles. Yoga may not provide them immediately but it is a proven method to combat them.

Research on the effects of yoga on HIV is currently underway with promising results. According to medical scientists, yoga therapy succeeds due to the balance created in the nervous and endocrine systems which directly affects all other systems and organs of the body. For most people, however, yoga is only the main means of maintaining health in a stressful society. Yoga reverses the effects of bad habits, such as sitting in a chair all day, using a mobile phone excessively, not exercising, having a bad diet, etc.

Correct time to practice yoga

Morning is the best time for yoga, one to two hours before sunrise. If morning is not possible for you, you can do it at sunset. Apart from this, take special care of these things also: It would be better if you set some time of the day for yoga. Do all the poses by laying a yoga mat or a carpet. You can also do yoga in an open space such as a park, or at home. Just remember that the place should be such that you can breathe freely.

The correct mental state before starting yoga practice

Yoga poses should always be done by keeping the mind in a peaceful state. Fill your mind with thoughts of peace and stability and focus your thoughts away from the outside world. Make sure that you are not so tired that you are unable to concentrate on the posture. If fatigue is excessive then only do the poses that are relaxed. Meditate deeply on the posture you are doing. Focus your concentration on the part of the body that has the greatest effect on that posture. By doing this you will get the best possible benefits. While doing the asana, breathing is very important. Do the same for the posture, which is the correct breathing method (when to inhale and exhale). If you do not mind it, then keep the normal rhythmic breathing.

Yoga tips for beginners

  • If you are starting yoga for the first time in life or are not very familiar with yoga, then keep these things in mind:
  • Does your yoga practice with patience and perseverance? If your body is less flexible then you may have difficulty doing most of the asanas in the beginning. Do not worry if you are not able to do posture properly at first. All will become easy with easy repetition. All the muscles and joints which have less stretch will gradually become flexible.
  • Do not hurry or force your body.
  • In the beginning you can only do the same yoga pose, which you can easily do. Just take care that your breathing is rhythmic.
  • In the beginning always rest for a few seconds between the two asanas. Between the two asanas, decide the period of rest according to your physical need. Reduce this duration over time.
  • What precautions should be taken for good yoga practice?
  • It is often said that women should not practice yoga during menstruation. But you can guess according to your physical ability whether yoga suits you during menstruation.
  • If you do yoga under the supervision of a yoga teacher during pregnancy, it will be better.
  • Do not make the posture difficult for children below the age of 10 years. Do yoga only under the direction of a yoga teacher.
  • Restrained in food and drink. Eat on time - drink.
  • Smoking should be strictly prohibited. If you have a habit of smoking tobacco or smoking,
  • Adopt yoga and try to quit this bad habit.
  • Get some sleep. The body also needs rest with exercise and nutritious diet. So slept on time.
Have faith in yourself and yoga. Positive thinking is the true companion of an ideal yoga practice. Your mental state and attitude in the end gives you all the benefits of yoga.
